Welcome to swap market on 30 November!

The focus of this exchange market is environmental friendliness for Christmas, in addition to the fact that we live in expensive times. This is hopefully a good way to inspire and help each other.

Do you need a Christmas present? New outfit for a Christmas party or Christmas Eve?

At this barter market, both things and clothes can be brought with you. But please - bring quality items, this event should not be used as a dumping ground. For example, underwear is not wanted. You also do not need to bring items/clothing if you want to participate.

The event is from 16:00-18:30. Deichman has staff until 19:00. The library has “Meråpent” from 19:00-22:00, if you want to stay longer.

Remember that even if a Christmas present has been found via a barter market, there may be just as much thought behind it if it had been bought.

About Sappho’s Friends:

Sappho's Friends started as a movie night in January of 2023, and it is now a fast growing community of queer women, non-binary people and trans people of all genders in Oslo. Community members organize all kinds of events, from movie nights, clothing swaps and casual hangouts to yoga, art therapy and different workshops. We want to build a strong, inclusive and accessible community for queer women, non binary and trans people. Our goal is to create safe spaces and events where everyone feels free to be themselves, and where we build on each others skills and passions.
