Hørespillet er en egen kunstform, med en lang tradisjon gjennom radiokringkastingens hundreårige historie.
I hørespillet er alt mulig og alt tillatt! Ny teknologisk utvikling gir ubegrensede muligheter. I dag kan hvem som helst produsere radiodrama på sin datamaskin eller telefon – ved hjelp av programvare som ofte er gratis.
Denne kvelden kommer den østerrikske forfatteren og radiodramatikeren Andreas Jungwirth til Tøyen – en unik mulighet for deg til å utforske radiodramaets muligheter under hans veiledning. Vi vil lytte til akustiske eksempler, og teste ut selvproduserte lyder og effekter, med tekst og språk. Alt du trenger å ta med er dine egne åpne ører og en smarttelefon!

The radio play is an art form in its own right. Radio is 100 years old.
In a radio play, everything is allowed. A radio play can do anything. New technological developments offer unlimited aesthetic possibilities. Nowadays, anyone can produce a radio play on a computer or smartphone, with the help of an editing program (usually supplied as freeware).
This evening, the Austrian author and radio playwright Andreas Jungwirth comes to Tøyen – a unique opportunity for you to explore the possibilities of radio drama under his guidance. We will listen to acoustic examples and “play” with self-produced sounds, with text and with language. Please bring your “open ears” and your smartphone!
The workshop will be in English. It is free and open to everyone.

Andreas Jungwirth (f.1967) bor og jobber i Wien. Han har skrevet romaner, skuespill og hørespill. Han jobber til daglig som radiodramatiker og regissør for Østerriksk Kringkasting (ORF/Ö1). I sine produksjoner tematiserer han gjerne hjem, identitet, fremmedhet og mangfoldskultur. Podcastserien «Todesangst» er basert på en av hans romaner for unge voksne, og vever sammen historiene og de forskjellige levemåtene til beboerne i en høyblokk.

Andreas Jungwirth (b. 1967) is based in Vienna. He is the author of novels, plays, and radio plays. He works as a radio playwright and director for Austrian Broadcasting (ORF/Ö1). In his productions, home, identity, foreignness and multilingualism play a central role. The podcast series “Todesangst” is based on one of his young adult novels and brings together various stories of different people and ways of life in a high-rise building.
