Nick Cave er en australsk rockesanger, pianist, gitarist, komponist, skuespiller og forfatter, oppvokst i Wangaratta i Victoria. Han har hatt en utrolig karriere. Etter det kakofoniske og bluesinspirerte postpunkbandet The Birthday Party ble han en kultfigur da han dannet Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, samtidig som han var avhengig av heroin.
